PORTRAITS AND THEIR LIVES - OPENING RECEPTION - 11/11/11

On Friday, November 11th we had the opening reception for our exhibition "Portraits and Their Lives". We also celebrated the opening of "Landscapes of the Imagination: Works by Anne Ierardi" in the Little Gallery. Many supporters of the museum were here as well as many of the artists who have works in the show. Both shows will be on view through December 30, 2011. |

SO WHAT'S IN A BOG?- OPENING RECEPTION - 7/28/11

On Thursday, July 28th we had the opening reception for our exhibition "So What's in A Bog?". Many supporters of the museum were here as well as many of the artists who have works in the show. We also celebrated the opening of "The South Cape Artists" in the Little Gallery. We had a cranberry themed opening with cranberry punch, cranberry scones, and cranberry dip. It was very well attended and we heard many rave reviews about the artwork as well as the punch. |

On Thursday, June 16th we had the opening reception for our exhibition "Mighty Ships and Their Journeys to Beyond". Many supporters of the museum were here as well as many of the artists who have works in the show. We also celebrated the opening of "Capturing Cape Cod: Works by Christie Velesig" in the Little Gallery. Christie Velesig's work will be on view through July 17th and the "Mighty Ships" exhibition will be on view through July 24th. |

On Friday, May 6th we had the opening reception for our exhibition "Lone Figure and the Landscape". Many of the exhibiting artists were present as well as many supporters of the Museum. We also celebrated the opening of "Interaction of Classical Architecture and Landscape: Paintings by Phil Bean" in the Little Gallery. |

ASHES TO ASHES & DUST TO DUST - OPENING RECEPTION - 3/18/11

On Friday, March 18th we had the opening reception for our exhibition "Ashes to Ashes & Dust to Dust: Extraordinary Works by Five Cape Cod Potters". Most of the exhibiting potters were present as well as many pottery loving fans. We also celebrated the opening of "Spontaneity and Memory: Recent Work by Taylor Fox" in the Little Gallery. Both exhibitions were on view from March 15 through May 1, 2011. |

AND THE BIRDS AND BEASTS WERE THERE - OPENING RECEPTION - 2/4/11
On Friday, February 4th we had the opening reception for our 2011 Benefit exhibition "The Birds and Beasts Were There: A Celebration of Animal Life". Many of the exhibiting artists were present as well as folks from the Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary and its Coastal Water Bird Program. The exhibition was up from February 1 - March 13, 2011.
