Cahoon in Bloom - Thursday, June 13 through Sunday, June 16, 2013

Join the Cahoon Museum of American Art and the Aptucxet Garden Club in Bourne as we collaborate for the Sixth Annual Cahoon in Bloom to benefit the museum. Spotlighting fantastic floral displays created by prize-wining floral artists, each unique arrangement represents the designer’s personal interpretation of a painting in Collecting Stories: American Paintings from the Collection of Thomas Davies exhibition that will be on view.

Floral and garden-themed merchandise will be available in the museum shop!

EVENT HOURS:
Thursday 5:30-7pm
Friday & Saturday 10am-4pm
Sunday 1-4pm

ACTIVITIES:
Thursday, June 13, 5:30-7pm
- Opening Reception
Saturday, June 15, 2-3pm
- Floral arrangement demonstration based on a work in the Collecting Stories exhibition

The Great Brush Off - July 13, 2013

The Cahoon Museum invites you to the 23rd Great Brush Off on Saturday, July 13 (rain date July 14) on the Cotuit Village Green. The highlight of this festive day, a live auction, that includes many pieces painted that morning at scenic locations around Cotuit, begins at 1 p.m.

Come earlier to enjoy a silent art auction, live music by Four Guys in Tuxes, and food. For more information contact the Museum at (508) 428-7581.
